St. Vincent and the Grenadines is scheduled to export 1,000 heads of cattle to Grenada this year.
This is according to Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Caesar, speaking in Parliament this morning during his contribution to the debate on the 2016
Budget.
Minister Caesar said when the programme to export cattle to Grenada started many persons expressed fear and displeasure, but he noted that through collaboration with the Government of Jamaica an artificial insemination programme to improve reproductive efficiency in farm animals was conducted and has been successful.
