SVG records Seven (7) new Covid-19 cases and Fifty-Seven (57) recoveries

St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Wednesday February 25^th 2021, recorded a total of seven (7) COVID-19 cases for patients seen on February 18^th, 22^nd , 23^rd and 24^th 2021.

One (1) of these seven (7) positive cases is a rapid antigen result from February 18^th which was submitted on February 24^th.

The remaining six (6) cases include (1) positive for February 22^nd, three (3) for February 23^rd and two (2) for February 24^th.

A total of 142 samples were processed for February 23^rd, yielding three (3) positives and resulting in a positivity rate of 2.1% for Tuesday, February 23^rd.

Fifty-seven (57) persons were cleared bringing the number of total recoveries to nine hundred and five (905).

Six hundred and fifteen (615) cases remain active and six (6) persons with COVID-19 have died.

One thousand, five hundred and twenty-six (1526) cases of COVID-19 have been reported in St. Vincent and the Grenadines since March 2020.

The public is reminded to wear a facial covering, physically distance, sanitize hands and get vaccinated to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
