This country recorded its 32nd homicide for this year, following the shooting death of a man which occurred at Belmont, yesterday October 1, 2017.
According to police the dead man has been identified as Calvert Pierre, a 42 year old, labourer of Kelbourney.
Reports are that the deceased sustained gunshot wounds about his body and succumbed to his injuries.
A postmortem examination is expected to be carried out to ascertain the cause of death.
Meanwhile, police are conducting investigations into its third fatal accident which occurred at Belmont public road yesterday.
Dead is Aleike Gibson, a 23 year old, conductor of Belmont.
Reports are that the deceased fell from motor vehicle T 8920, owned by Lesline Davis and driven by Dwight Davis, both of Belmont.
