Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves says St. Vincent and the Grenadines is on target to achieve “One College or University graduate, on an average, per household” by 2025
In his address on Tuesday at the 36th Independence National Parade at Victoria Park, Dr. Gonsalves said the government recently awarded a record number of 31 national scholarships, national exhibitions and bursaries to students arising from their outstanding performance at the 2015 CAPE/“A” Level examinations.
He said in 2016 these numbers would be further augmented for government-assisted university education through the award of 70 tuition scholarships and grants.
