The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police (RSVGPF) have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of 28 year old block maker of Richmond, Saville Murray.
At about 5:20 am yesterday, Thursday June 17th, The RSVGPF was alerted about what appeared to be a lifeless body lying on the ground in Golden Grove, Fitz Hughes; they visited the scene, and discovered the body with multiple gunshot wounds, which was then identified as Saville Murray. The body was pronounced dead by the District Medical Officer.
A post mortem examination will be conducted on the body to ascertain the exact cause of death. The motive for the shooting is unknown.
The RSVGPF is asking anyone with information pertaining to Murray’s death to contact the police. All information would be treated confidentially.
