There was one road fatality recorded over the Easter weekend, after a truck overturned in Revierre.

According to Corporal 374 King of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force’s Traffic Department, there were a total of five vehicular accidents reported over the weekend.

But according to Corporal King, who was at the time speaking during WE FM’s Traffic Talk segment, only one those accidents result in loss of life.

“..And the other accident is a fatal accident; a road fatality in the Calliaqua District, that is along the Revierre public road, where the female, she would have succumbed to the injury. She would have sustained about her body.

So we have one road facility, which occurred along the Revierre public road yesterday. So at this time, you know, we want to send out our condolences to the bereaved family of that female would have succumbed to that injury.” Corporal King said.

The identity of the victim of Monday’s fatal accident, according to the Searchlight Newspaper has been confirmed to be Racquel Williams of Diamond.

According to Searchlight, Williams was reportedly perched on the bed of the truck that was carrying a quantity of aggregates to Harmony Hall.
