Police uncover gun and ammunition during ongoing homicide investigation

Police operations conducted on July 5^th and 6^th, 2021 have uncovered two (2) firearms and a quantity of ammunition. 

As part of on-going homicide investigation, a party Rapid Response Unit (RRU) personnel conducted a search in Glen on July 5^th 2021 and recovered one (1) Glock 27 pistol, one (1) Glock 23 pistol, five (5) magazines and seventy-three (73) rounds of .40 ammunition.

A further search was conducted on July 6^th 2021 which resulted in one (1) magazine containing fourteen (14) rounds of .40 ammunition being recovered.

Investigations into the discovery are continuing.
