Nine Mornings 2021 was confirmed this past Sunday, by Orande ‘Bomani’ Charles, the chairman of the National Nine Mornings Committee, during his appearance on the Issues at Hand program, who said the 2021 version of the cultural event will be coming with a few changes this time around.

“Nine Mornings is on, right, albeit, as persons might have heard in the last few weeks, the format in which we will be presenting it this year will be different, given the circumstances that we’re in. We think, because of the dynamic nature of the festival, it has those types of features that can respond and adapt to situations like this and we can reformat and present to persons, not just in St. Vincent and the Grenadines but around the region and around the world.” Charles said.

He then goes on to speak of some of the key changes in the event that the public can expect to see this year.

“The way we’re doing this is, we are relocating the traditional venue of nine mornings which is usually at Heritage Square—in terms of the main stage activity—to the Victoria Park for a streaming sort of hybrid, virtual/ vaccinated event. We are putting together all of the cultural packages, performances, features in the program, that are familiar to persons as far as nine mornings is concerned and we are presenting that on stage each morning from the 16th to the 24th.” He said.
