Prime Minister Dr. Hon. Ralph Gonsalves, while speaking on radio this morning, disclosed that nearly 70 individuals across various locations in SVG had been vaccinated against COVID-19 on Sunday.
“The Chief Medical Officer informed me earlier this morning that the vaccination was carried at four or five different locations yesterday, Sunday, a number close to seventy persons, I’ve been advised, were inoculated, immunized with CoviShield which is the AstraZeneca from India. I think that’s good progress over the weekend.
Of course we’ve got 5,000 doses of that particular vaccine through Dominica and we have another 40,000 doses to get directly from India.” The Prime Minister said.
