The Ministry of Health will be ramping up its vaccination campaign. This was announced by Minister of Health the Hon. St. Clair Prince during Tuesday afternoon’s press conference.

“From October to December our vaccination sites will have extended vaccination hours and weekend vaccination drives across St. Vincent and the Grenadines COVID-19 vaccines”. He said.

Minister Prince then went on to remind the public that COVID-19 vaccines in SVG are free of charge and urged all to take them.

“Currently our vaccines are free of charge; take it while you can get it for free. While the numbers are increasing, we are still not where we need to be. We’re still trying to get people to take the vaccine, it’s important, it is free, it is available it’s accessible, and it works”. The health minister said.

According to the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 update dashboard, SVG’s vaccination numbers stand at 38,030 vaccine doses administered, 23,127 of those being first doses and 14,903 being second doses.
