H.E. Efthymios Ethymiades, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic (Greece) to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines presented credentials to H.E. Dame Susan Dougan, GCMG, OBE, Governor General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at the Government House on April 22, 2024.
Ambassador Ethymiades also met with high-level Government Officials, including Dr. The Hon. Ralph Gonsalves; Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Hon. Keisal Peters; Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Hellenic Republic (Greece) established diplomatic relations on August 13, 1997 and continue to enjoy the existing fraternal relationship of mutual support and consideration of interest, to the benefit of both nations.
Vincentians were recently given the opportunity to embrace the rich cultural history of Greece, through a showing of Greek film, “The Other Me”.
The screening was a collaboration between the ministry of foreign affairs and foreign trade and the embassy of Greece.
