A thirty year old fruit vendor accused of the murder of St. Vincent and the Grenadines 7th homicide victim of 2023 made his first court appearance on Monday.
Abdul Garrick of Rockies appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Monday, February 20, 2023, for arraignment where he did not have to plea to the indictable charge.
Garrick was remanded into custody at His Majesty’s Prison pending a Preliminary Inquiry (PI).
According to police, Garrick, a fruit vendor was arrested in connection with the February 10, 2023, death of Purlinea Greaves, a 28-year-old timekeeper of Dorsetshire Hill.
Greaves died at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital after she was approached and shot in the head at Dorsetshire Hill on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at about 8:30 pm.
