Dr. Ralph Gonsalves

Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Ralph Gonsalves, during a call to WEFM’s Issues at Hand program on Sunday, called the conduct of the leaders Teacher’s Union, Public Service Union and Police Welfare Association, wholly reprehensible.

“In so far as the leadership of the teacher’s union and the public service union, their conduct was wholly reprehensible. They tried to piggy back on a political demonstration, which from the beginning had only one purpose, from Ashelle, all the way to get rid of Ralph and the Government.” He said.

The Prime Minister said that he had read what the leaders of Teacher’s Union, Public Service Union, and Police Welfare Association, and after doing so he determined that what they said was a misrepresentation of what is actually detailed in Public Health Bill.

The Prime Minister also addressed the lawyers that were present at the press conference, stating that “were more guided by politics than by law.”
