Close to four hundred minibus operators will be assisted by the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, as part of the supplementary budget in response to COVID -19.
The announcement was made by Minister of Finance, Camillo Gonsalves during a media conference held last week.
According to the Minister, a previous announcement was made about close to fourteen hundred minibuses on hand to receive assistance, however this number has been revised.
Minister Gonsalves said the Government had previously announced assistance of two hundred and fifty dollars per month for the minibus operators, but this amount has been increased.
