North York retail management company, J2 Retail Management Inc., has made a significant donation of 28,000 items of clothing to help the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines after the island was devastated by a series of volcanic eruptions that rocked the Caribbean Island’s economy.

The effects have been devastating for the small Caribbean island and the government has appealed to the international community for aid in the rebuilding efforts. As of April 9th, 20,000 citizens have been evacuated from their homes and have gone into shelters in the safe zones.

Consul General Fitzgerald Huggins expressed gratitude for the company’s generosity.

The donation of 28000 items of clothing for children and adults valued at Canadian $1.5 Million.
