The Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) program hosted at the St. Martin’s Secondary School during the summer holidays is scheduled to begin on July 14th.
This unique summer camp which was first held in 2013, aims to apply new teaching methods to curricular studies while exposing students to work and ideas which would take them beyond the class curriculum.
Courses include: Math, English 1, Physics, Biology, Integrated Science, Hardware Software, Programming, Database, Web and Graphic Design, Flash Animation, Robotic/ Artificial Intelligence and Game Development.
The project is open to boys and girls from age 8 and over and is facilitated by local professional teachers from the Tertiary institutions here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and supported by local businesses.
