A two day Training Seminar dubbed “Introduction to Human Trafficking” will be convened here next week.
The seminar is being organized by the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Unit of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police in collaboration with the National Task Force and National Working Group against Human Trafficking.
This training is geared towards sensitizing an equipping Law Enforcement Officers and other stakeholders both from the public and private sector to effectively combat Human Trafficking.
The seminar is scheduled for September 23rd-24th, 2015, at the Ministry of Telecommunications Conference Room on the third floor of the CLICO Building. The sessions will run from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm daily.
The keynote address will be delivered by Camillo Gonsalves, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Commerce and Trade.
