The five finalist in the WEFM – DIGICEL Youth Summer Reading Challege have been named.
They are; Lynallia Isaacs, age 15 of Vermont; Kwan Stewart, age 15 of Spring Village; Donnie Bacchus, age 14 of Brighton, Annicia Billy, age 14 of Lowmans Leeward, and; Affique Ambrose, age 14 of Belair.
The five out read many other applicants across the country in the Semi finals, after passing the preliminary round with brilliant essays.
They will now undergo one week of Broadcast training at WEFM’s studios, from Monday August 10, 2015 to Friday August 14.
They will then compete by reading the news LIVE on air on Monday August 17, 2015.
The most outstanding reader will be the 2015 WEFM – DIGICEL Summer Reading Challenge winner.
All of the finalists will receive prizes from Digicel.
