35 new cases of COVID-19 reported in SVG

According to the latest COVID-19 report released by NEMO’s Health Services Subcommittee, 35 COVID-19 positive cases have been reported here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, 20 of those cases were recorded from 168 samples collected on December 13^th; 9 recorded from 153 samples collected on December 14^th and 6 recorded from 130 samples collected on December 15^th.

No new recoveries were reported over the recording period, leaving active cases of the virus at 570.

SVG’s COVID-19 death toll remains unchanged at 77.

COVID-19 hospitalizations in country stand at 14; 5 of those patients being admitted to the Argyle Isolation Facility and 9 admitted for care at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital’s COVID-19 ward. One patient is fully vaccinated, the rest are unvaccinated.

5758 COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in St. Vincent and the Grenadines since March of last. COVID-19 recoveries remain at 5111.

Vaccination numbers according to the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 dashboard, 33,702 people have received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine while 25,261 have received two doses.
