The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Teacher’s Union (SVGTU) via an official release is calling for its members to stay away from all face to face and online classes tomorrow, Tuesday December 7th, as well as on Wednesday December 8th.
The union advised that its members return to work on the 9th of December.
In their release they let known their intention to picket at the Vegetable Market in Kingstown and the Administrative Buildings in Canouan and Bequia on Friday December 10th.
The SVGTU also advised all of its unvaccinated members to continue to report to work.
Parents were also called on to keep students at home on these two days in solidarity with the union, and invited the union’s picket line on Friday.
