Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) will host the 2025 edition of the Windward Islands Schools’ Games, set to run from July 26th to August 3rd. The highly anticipated regional sporting event brings together student-athletes from four Caribbean nations: Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia, and SVG.
Organized under the theme “Four Teams, One Dream!”, the games will feature intense competition across five disciplines: track and field, basketball, volleyball, netball, and soccer.
The event is being coordinated by the Ministry of Housing, Informal Human Settlement, Youth and Sports, in collaboration with partners including the Canadian Bank Note Company and Super 6 Winlott Inc.
Aimed at fostering sportsmanship, unity, and youth development, the Windward Islands Schools’ Games are a cornerstone of inter-island sporting tradition. SVG last hosted the games in previous years to great success and is expected to once again deliver a high-energy showcase of emerging talent from across the region.
More details on venues and schedules are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
