Apple TV+ is producing a five-part documentary series titled Mr. Scorsese, chronicling the life and career of legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese.

Directed by Rebecca Miller, the series will delve into Scorsese’s exploration of moral themes, such as the nature of good and evil, tracing back to his early work at New York University.

The documentary will feature exclusive access to Scorsese’s private archives and in-depth interviews with the director himself.

It will also include previously unseen conversations with his collaborators and acquaintances, including Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Steven Spielberg, Mick Jagger, Robbie Robertson, and Daniel Day-Lewis.

Initially conceived as a single film, the project expanded into a five-part series over five years due to the depth of Scorsese’s story. A release date has not yet been announced.
