Minister of Education the Hon. Curtis King during his appearance on WEFM’s Issues at Hand program, while discussing the increase in the number national awards, assured that the issues with the SBAs of students at the St. Vincent Grammar School will soon be rectified.
“When happened with the Grammar School, there are about four subjects where a number of students were given zero. A number of students were given zero for their English, History, Social Studies and English B SBAs, and we had reached out to the St. Vincent Grammar School to find out and the Grammar School has since lodged formally their request for review, and I know CXC has asked the school for the SBAs and the school sheets and those have been sent to CXC, so that is one of the issues that will be resolved when we get the final results”. He said.
Upon the receipt of these final results from the CXC, a change in the ranking is expected to be seen, according to the Education Minister.
