St. Lucia’s Ministry of Health and Wellness has received confirmation of 76 new laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19. These results are from a batch of 179 samples processed by the Ezra Long Laboratory. These new cases bring the total number of active cases of the virus in the country to 350.
St. Lucia’s Ministry of Health also reported the death of two more individuals from COVID-19.
St. Lucia’s 64th and 65th COVID-19 deaths are a 66 year old male and 61 year old female respectively.
The total number of COVID-19 cases diagnosed in St. Lucia to date stand at 5,813.
A total of 32,810 individuals in St. Lucia have received the first dose of the vaccine, while 25,543 individuals have received the second dose of the vaccine.
