The Honourable Orando Brewster, Minister of National Mobilization, during a recent appearance on the Shake Up program aired on WEFM, discussed the support that will be provided to non-farmers with businesses in the red zone.
“We are on the eve of helping the non farmers through the ministry of social protection. You know, those who had a business in the red zone, we’re trying to provide some income support there as well.” He said.
Brewster stated that there has been a tremendous outpour of resources and his ministry is ensuring that it gets to the poor, the vulnerable and the marginalized.
Minister Brewster said that his ministry’s social programs are still ongoing; he said this is important because there are still a number of persons in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in need of assistance.
