Minister of National Mobilisation, Social Development, Gender Affairs, Family Affairs, Housing and Informal Settlement Dr. Orando Brewster is currently attending the 13th meeting of Commonwealth Women’s Affairs Ministers (13 WAMM).
Minister Brewster while speaking on WE FM on Tuesday spoke of the key areas of discussion for the meeting, which includes improved access to education, increased climate finance and more.
“There are some key areas that we are working on, inclusive of gender responsive policies as it relates to climate change, there are areas such as improved access to education and training for women and girls; increased in climate finance which is another key area; also, bringing women forward as leaders and participants in policy formation and decision making,” Minister Brewster said.

The 13th Annual Commonwealth Women’s Affairs Ministers Meeting (13WAMM) is being held under the theme, “Equality Toward a Common Future”.
