Internet coverage at the nation’s schools is expected to see a major improvement following an amendment to the contract between FLOW and the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC).

“We went into the schools; we hear the complaints all the time in some schools of the connectivity issues, and there were some of the school that needed more access points and there were certain schools that had certain coverage issues, so we did an amendment to that contract with FLOW; in December we signed off on it and that cost more $800,000 to buy 100 more hotspots and access points as well as provide the service to maintain them over the life of the contract, over the next four years. Those access points were received in the country about a few weeks and Flow will start installing them over the next two weeks.” Knights said.

The conditional date of April 12th has been set for the reopening of schools.
