According to the latest COVID-19 report released by NEMO’s Health Services Subcommittee, there have been 39 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from 254 samples collected on Friday December 31st, 2021.
Also reported 19 new rapid antigen positive results reported from flu clinics on December 31st, 2021.
21 new COVID-19 recoveries have been recorded, leaving active cases of the virus in country at 582.
COVID-19 deaths in country stand at 83.
There are currently 10 patients admitted for COVID-19 in SVG, all at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital’s COVID-19 ward. All but two of the patients are unvaccinated.
Since March of 2020 5991 COVID-19 positive cases and 5326 COVID-19 recoveries have been reported in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
