Three local fishermen from Barbuda have been reported missing after their fishing trip took an unexpected turn on Sunday morning.
Reports indicated that the vessel, Give Thanks, a 23-foot boat, departed with Shalico Charles (the vessel owner), Captain Vere Isaac, and crew member Claylan Joseph, but has not returned to port.
Extensive search and rescue operations are currently underway, with support from the Coast Guard and local authorities.
The search has expanded to include several neighboring islands including St Kitts, Anguilla, St Martin, and St Barts.
