The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force is investigating three violent crime incidents that occurred within days of each other.
In the first incident, an employee was assaulted during an attempted robbery at a service station on Leeward Highway shortly after midnight on November 30.
The male suspect arrived in a black Honda Fit, struck the employee with a firearm then fled the scene.
The victim was treated for injuries at Cheshire Hall Medical Centre.
Later that same evening, two masked individuals, one armed with a firearm, entered an eating establishment and robbed customers before escaping on foot.
The third offence occurred late December 2, when a driver was confronted by an armed attacker on Walter Cox Drive.
The unidentified male, holding a cinder block, forced the driver to exit the vehicle and surrender personal belongings. The suspect then used the cinder block to smash the vehicle’s rear passenger side window before escaping.
