After being bombarded with pleas from her fans, Shenseea has promised to drop more dancehall music.
She said that she intends to spoil her fans this year with dancehall music, further saying that this year is set to be a fun one.
However, she noted that this does not mean that she would hit pause on her pursuit of producing music in other genres.
Shenseea spoke about her upcoming album, which will host “a mixture of vibes”, much like her debut album, Alpha (2022). The project peaked at number two on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart. It was also the second best-selling album by a Jamaican artist that year, copping 63,000 units in combined sales and streams in The States, according to Billboard’s sales tracker Luminate.
Shenseea said that she is excited about the release of one record in particular, “Tap Out”, which she described as a dancehall treat for her OG Shenyeng fans.
According to DanceHallMag.com the single was produced by Chimney Records, her longtime collaborators who are also behind some of her dancehall tracks like Trick’a Treat, Upset, Dolly, and Henkel Glue with Beenie Man.
