Actress Sydney Sweeney is pushing back against long-running plastic surgery rumors. In a new interview with co-star Amanda Seyfried, the 28-year-old says she has never had any cosmetic work done, insisting she’s “terrified of needles.” Sweeney explained that changes in her appearance are simply the difference between childhood photos and professional styling as an adult.
She also revealed a past wakeboarding accident that left her with 19 stitches, slightly affecting one eyelid — something she says would look “perfectly even” if she’d had surgery.
Sweeney is currently promoting her upcoming psychological thriller “The Housemaid,” which hits theaters on December 19.
