A joint funeral service was held on Sunday for the Clare Valley five men who lost their lives on September 11th of this year in a vehicular accident in Sandy Bay.
The bereaved community turned out in their numbers to pay their last respects to Giovanni Barker, Ishmael Bruce, Elvis Harold, Colin Robin, and Kenroy Haywood.
Among the mourners were Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves and Opposition Leader Dr Godwin Friday.
The men were remembered by loved ones for their love of life, family and hard work.
A memorial is planned to remember the lives lost in the Sandy Bay and 2015 Rock Gutter accidents.
The St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force is currently probing what caused the fatal accident that claimed the five lives on that faithful day as the men were heading to Owia to attend the funeral of murder victim Rohan “Charla” Rawlins.
