St. Vincent and the Grenadines is taking a major step toward strengthening its digital resilience as the Caribbean Digital Transformation Project (CARDTP) hosts a Cybersecurity Knowledge Sharing Workshop on Tuesday, May 28, 2025, at the Frenches House.
The workshop, a key step in the formulation of a National Cybersecurity Strategy, will bring together participants from various government departments, training institutions, the private sector, and regional cybersecurity experts. Welcoming remarks will be delivered by representatives from the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), CARICOM IMPACS, and NRD Cyber Security.
The session will highlight the importance of a national cybersecurity framework and the need for coordinated regional efforts. NRD Cyber Security is expected to present the main principles, structure, and action plan for the strategy’s development.
This initiative forms part of a broader regional effort involving Grenada, Dominica, Saint Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It aims to create a cybersecurity roadmap and implementation plan to guide each country in protecting its digital infrastructure.
