YG Marley’s debut single, Praise Jah In The Moonlight, has been certified Platinum in the United States.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified the song Platinum after it reached the sales and streaming equivalent of one million units sold in the US.

The track, independently released, first gained traction after Marley, 22, performed it during his mother Lauryn Hill’s Miseducation of Lauryn Hill tour late last year.

It incorporates a sample from his grandfather Bob Marley’s 1978 track Crisis and credits Hill as a co-writer and co-producer.
