The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m. in Ottley Hall.
Police said officers responded to reports of gunfire and, on arrival, found a 34-year-old resident of Ottley Hall at his home suffering from a gunshot wound to his left leg. He was assisted by emergency responders and taken for medical treatment.
Preliminary investigations indicate that an unknown assailant emerged from nearby bushes and opened fire on the victim before fleeing the scene.
Investigators are appealing to members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or noticed any suspicious activity in the area to come forward with information that could help identify the perpetrator. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) or the Major Crimes Unit (MCU) at 456-1810, visit any police station, or speak directly with a police officer. Reports can also be made to Police Control at 457-1211.
