During his address at the ALBA-TCP XXIV Summit, Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves, said SVG reached high development due to the cooperation mechanisms of the Bolivarian Alliance.
“We went from an average level of development to a high one, this is thanks to the significant contribution of the ALBA Bank, PETROCARIBE, Cuba and Venezuela,” Gonsalves said at the Summit in Caracas on Saturday.
The Prime Minister highlighted that member countries of the regional alliance are united by geography, history and the “fever of that story we have become a compromise.”
Prime Minister Gonsalves addressed the issue of the ongoing conflict between Venezuela and America, saying that ALBA is “love, complementarity.”
He added, “In the U.S., instead of seeing this world as a time to bring about peace for all, we have a sense that those who have been victorious think they are omniscient, think they know everything and can do everything.”
