Minister of Social Welfare and Parliamentary Representative for North Windward, Shevern John, is paying tribute to seven young Vincentians who lost their lives at Rock Gutter in Fancy.
In a statement, Minister John reflected on the solemn moment in the nation’s history, naming Annique Alexander, Racquel Ashton, Jamall Edwards, Jamalie Edwards, Glenroy Michael, Simmonique Ballantyne and Chanstasia Stay. She said their lives, though brief, were meaningful and remain deeply woven into the hearts of communities across the country.
The minister extended prayers and support to the families and all those affected, while reaffirming her commitment to construct safety barriers at Rock Gutter and other vulnerable areas, as resources permit.
