The RSVGPF has arrested and charged Ronell Mathurine, a 38-year-old Labourer of Calder, with the offence of Damage to Property.
According to investigations, the accused without lawful excuse, damaged one (1) right quarter glass for a motor vehicle, valued at $300.00 EC, the property a 33-year-old resident of Stoney Grounds, by smashing it with an unknown object.
The offence was committed at Stoney Grounds on August 24, 2024.
Mathurine appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court on October 31 and pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Bail was not considered and the defendant was remanded with the trial date set for January 13, 2025.
