A five-year vision has come to life with the soft launch of C’s All-in-One Café, the first-ever café located within a healthcare facility in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
This initiative at the Modern Medical and Diagnostic Complex (MMDC) will serve healthy, flavorful meals to patients, staff, and the wider community offering convenience, nourishment, and community connection in one vibrant space.
The café is not only a food outlet; it is a symbol of continued progress and innovation in the health sector.
The official soft launch yesterday featured remarks from Chief Nutritionist Nicole France, who emphasized the collaborative efforts that led to this moment.
France said there were extensive consultations between the café owner Cliseena Butler, the Deputy Hospital Administrator Idinger Miller- Walker, and the Nutrition Unit, to ensure that the offerings align with national health priorities, including the reduction of non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
The café features meals prepared with homegrown, all-natural seasonings and ingredients sourced locally.
C’s All-in-One Café will open to the public from today, April 29th, with operating hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
The hours will be adjusted based on demand and feedback, and the café is located on the ground floor of the MMDC in Georgetown.
