The Adelphi Secondary school has been named Regional Champion in the 2024 ECSE Regional Schools Investment Competition.
Their business, the Adelphi Enterprise, won the Intra-Country segment of the competition in October and went on to represent SVG at the regional stage.
The Choiseul Secondary School of St Lucia was awarded runner up with their business CHSS Emerging Investors.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place next year.
The Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange says the competition was created to be a dynamic learning experience for high school and first year college students and introduces them to investing while providing the opportunity to experience securities market activity firsthand.
