Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Investment, Foreign Trade and Diaspora Affairs, Fitzgerald Bramble, has pledged a strategic and people-centred approach to St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ foreign relations.
In his first public statement since taking office, Minister Bramble thanked the people of East Kingstown for re-electing him and expressed appreciation for what he described as a strong national mandate given to the government.
He noted that global uncertainty, shifting geopolitics and rapid technological change require small states like SVG to pursue creative and realistic foreign, trade and investment policies.
The minister emphasized the importance of the Vincentian diaspora, saying the government is committed to engaging and empowering nationals abroad as partners in development.
Minister Bramble also said diplomatic missions will be strengthened to effectively advance the country’s national and regional interests.
