Female soca artistes here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines continue to impress with their output this year for VincyMas 2024.

Marketing Officer for VincyMas, Esworth ‘Ezzie’ Roberts during a call to WE FM’s issue at hand program, while discussing the finals of Flow’s First Run competition, commended the work of the nation’s female soca artistes.

‘ In terms of female participation this year, a number of females also had songs, some of them did not submit entries. In fact, I got calls from some some females who indicated they had missed the date. They thought it would be in a later date and so forth, in terms of for submission. But there are some females with some really nice songs, I know Kelly J has a nice soca. She had a nice song last year this year again, she’s right and par. Kiki has a really nice soca  and so forth and  Nickie Pierre was in the finals of the competition but the female artistes in St. Vincent continue to produce great music and we want to give kudos to them as well.’

Vincymas 2024 was officially launched on Friday May 17th at Unity Square.

The launch was done in collaboration with the ICC World Cup Trophy Tour under the theme ‘Runs and Rhythm.’
