Online learning in St. Vincent and the Grenadines will continues from this Monday October 18th, according to the Minister of Education the Hon. Curtis King while speaking on WEFM’s Wake Up morning program on Friday.

“The Ministry of Education has advised that we will be continuing online teaching from Monday 18th October. Now you would recall that in the initial stages, we had indicated, given the situation with regards to the COVID-19 pandemic that we will have a phased approach to the reopening of schools, and we had indicated also that given the fluid situation that we find ourselves in, we would allow ourselves that flexibility to make the necessary adjustments when they are required, based on the prevailing or existing circumstances within the country”. He said.

Schools in St. Vincent and the Grenadines were supposed to employ a blended approach to learning from October 18th, but due to COVID-19 those plans have changed.

According to an official release from the Ministry of Education, the blended learning approach should commence on Monday November 1st 2021, once the situation becomes more favorable.
