Speaker of the House Assembly, Hon. Carlos James has said that the Vincentian society needs to change their attitude towards development and advancement within the country.
“We need to look at some transformation, not just in parliament, but across the civil service, our attitude towards development and our attitude towards advancement in St.Vincent and the Grenadines.”
“We have to see some serious transformation in the way we do business in the public sector and public sector reform even in the private sector as well”
The honorable speaker also said that there is a need for a more aggressive drive in terms of investing in more local projects by the business sector.
