Over the last few weeks, Minister of Tourism Carlos James made several representations overseas, including a visit to Havana, Cuba where a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between both countries to strengthen technical cooperation in the areas of Tourism and Hospitality
SVG’s Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development and Culture, Carlos James, signed the MOU with Juan Carlos Garcia Granda, the Minister of Tourism, Republic of Cuba. The visit also coincided with Cuba’s International Tourism Fair (FITCuba) and the G-77+China Meetings of Ministers of Culture and Ministers of Tourism.
Following his visit to Havana, Cuba Minister James travelled to San Jose, Costa Rica where he attended the second EU – Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) ministerial meeting on environment and climate change.
