Active cases of COVID-19 here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines now stand at 828 following the report of 2 new PCR cases as well as 10 new rapid antigen cases.
According to the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment’s latest COVID-19 update, one new COVID-19 death has been recorded, following the passing of an unvaccinated individual.
The death toll now stands at 93. Of those 93 deaths, 2 were fully vaccinated, one was partially vaccinated and 90 were unvaccinated.
There are currently 21 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in-country. Of the 21 patients admitted, 5 are fully vaccinated, 1 is partially vaccinated and the remaining 15 are unvaccinated.
Meanwhile, a total of 63,669 vaccines have been administered locally. Of this total 34,138 are first doses, 27, 395 second doses and 2,136 boosters.
