Rapper and designer Ye (formerly Kanye West) bought a local Super Bowl ad promoting his website, which was selling only one item: a T-shirt featuring a swastika.
The black-on-white design, priced at $20, had no explanation except the label “HH-o1.”
Initially, his website sold various clothing items, but after the ad aired, it displayed only the swastika shirt.
The commercial, aired in Los Angeles, showed Ye at a dentist’s office, joking about spending all his money on new teeth while urging viewers to visit yeezy.com.
By Tuesday, the website had been taken down.
