A Neighbourhood Watch and Association have been set up in the communities of Yambou, Argyle and Peruvian Vale.

These communities have been plagued with crimes of a varied nature and residents have come together to assist Law Enforcement Officers to deal with these matters along with building community spirit in these neighbourhoods and surrounding areas.

Residents held their first meeting on March 22, 2017 and have been meeting weekly and fortnightly.

An Executive has been elected to serve for two years. It includes:
President: Brenda White Myers; Vice President and Liaison Officer: Artis Davis; Secretary: Modica Bascombe; Assistant Secretary: Iris Mounsey; Treasurer/PRO: Cheryl Rodriguez; Events Co-ordinator/ Cultural Officer and Research Officer: John Daisley; and Technical Advisor and Webmaster: Hanniff Sutherland.

The Zone Co-ordinators are Lawrence Bacchus-Peruvian Vale, Nathaniel Williams- Yambou and Jeffrey Garraway- Argyle, with Trustees: Brenda Myers, Artis Davis and Cheryl Rodriguez, and Floor members, Chesley Richards and Mary Quammie.

The Association will be officially launched at a ceremony to be held at the Argyle Primary School on Saturday June 17, 2017 at 5pm.
