Motorist and pedestrians travelling in south leeward will see further disruptions and delays as work on the South Leeward Highway Project intensifies
As of today Monday 10th August, the contractor for the South Leeward Highway Project, Dipcon SVG Ltd will be doing works at driveways and business entrances to accommodate the asphalt paving of the rehabilitated road. Pedestrians and motorist are asked to take note and look out for the Work In Progress‘ signs. Works will be carried during regular work hours
Additionally excavation work has begun in the area of Baynes Garage at Lowmans Hill/Grand Gate. Motorist and pedestrians are ask to approach the area with caution. Vehicles are ask to cooperate with the traffic wardens at the location.
Excavation work will also be carried out in Layou in the area close to the Layou Methodist Church, works will proceed in that area from tomorrow Tuesday 11th August during regular work hours. Motorist are asked to approach area with caution and cooperate with the traffic wardens.
